I'm 5 11, 200#, and carry most of my weight in my hips. I'm a 40C/D cup, and normally wear a women's L or XL. I was pleasantly surprised by this top. I'm trying to dress my post-quarantine body and prefer a little more coverage around the love handle area right now. I'm otherwise a thin gal 5'6 115, small chest. Typically a small fits me in most brands with a little too much room under the arms or some odd area is baggy but tight in others, but I feel like this size small shirt was dead on. Comfortable but not a lot of extra room--it is fitted around the hip area (I have a short torso, so might hit others more around the waist, it's not particularly long but that's what I wanted). This blouse was as expected and looks nice. I bought the light blue and the color is exactly what the seller shows. It has a stretchy inner shell (kind of like a sleeveless undershirt) and appears to be sewn well. Outer layer, sewn to inner shell, feels a bit toothy and rough, not silky as I had hoped but still looks nice. It does look like a more expensive blouse though. I used a steamer to smooth out the minor creases from shipping. The outer layer hem is sewn about 3" above the inner shell so you can see the material difference, but once on it is a bit hidden and drapes over nicely.
For sizing I bought L, which is often the size I buy- my bust and hips are 38", waist 32" (height 5'5"). Because the outer shell is not a stretchy material, the hem did not give too much while putting it on. While the blouse looks really nice, I felt it wasn't terribly flattering for my body shape (rectangle). A medium may have helped but glad I got the L because it would have likely been a problem getting over my shoulders and at my hips. Overall, good value for this product.

I think the photo online is a pretty accurate representation. I was also surprised by the length - it wasn't long/tunic length but really hit where it needed to (a little below the waist with plenty of give still). This item said it was true to size so I ordered XL thinking this would fit based on the sizing chart and some other reviews. When I received the item, I was surprised at how small it was. There is no give to this fabric, so the size needs to be exact. I am usually a size 14-16 top and was expecting that the XL would fit perfectly. I would say the XL was more consistent a size 12. It was tight around the band at the bottom and it was not overly roomy. The proportion of the sizing of the top of the blouse vs the band at the bottom seemed to be off. I would recommend that you order a size up if you want a blouse that fits correctly.

I have bought similar blouses from other sellers and thought that this was the same design, but they made a small change that makes this much less usable, especially for someone with a relatively large chest. There are two layers - a stretchy lower layer and an upper layer with zero stretch or give, and that tears easily and badly.
With other similar blouses from other sellers, the fragile, non-stretchy upper layer (i.e. the gauze part with the pattern) only meets on the side below breast level, so that busty women can easily wear it. That doesn't compromise modesty, since the opening is under the arms and there is still the second layer. But this superior design makes the blouse very comfortable to wear and less likely to get torn while wearing, as well as allowing it to fit a wider range of body types.
This design is worthless unless you're relatively flat, with your chest and waist sizes are very close to each other (either both small or both big). It's designed only for certain body types, not for women in general.
That's sad, because it's cute otherwise. Maybe they'll fix it, since a good design would cost them basically nothing.

This makes the outer, sheer part unflattering and the neck opening weirdly sagging. I only hope that it will shrink a bit in the wash.

Was i being tricked. Someone found this funny. I cant afford to send this back. What should i do now. This is a large or anyone out there or xl the most. So frustrated. Gosh.
