This shirt has a very flattering tapered fit. I am 5'4" and it covers my bum. My husband has commented more than once that I look nice when I'm wearing it. I originally ordered the blue and white stripe in medium and later ordered the pink and white stripe and mint green and white stripe in small. I have a smaller waist and a little more hip, but the small fits just right. The medium sits a little off my shoulders, as I am small-boned and have narrow shoulders. I could button the bottom button no problem, but I usually don't. I think the fit is very flattering. The shirt is very lightweight and does wrinkle when washed. I dry on low for about 5 minutes then shake it out and hang it up and then it is relatively wrinkle-free. Just don't let it sit in a heap in the dryer and be sure to take it out when it's still damp. I would prefer the fabric to be just a tad heavier, but it is lightweight enough that I have been able to wear it on 90-100 degree days and not be too hot (with air conditioning). I purchased twice, so that tells you I thought it was worth it.

I usually go between a small or a medium. I ordered both. The small fit PERFECTLY. Maybe too perfectly? The smallest amount of shrinkage would make it uncomfortable. The medium is a bit large (sleeves on both are a little long) but now I am ok if it shrinks just a little. I haven't washed yet, so I cannot say about wrinkles, but I am not opposed to a bit of ironing.
This shirt in the white/blue stripe is so pretty and fits the 'coastal grandmother' look that I have always loved even before the terminology became popular.
I also ordered it in white, which is just your basic white shirt, a little bit thin but will work.

The button holes are not big enough and the buttons are so tiny!! I have arthritis in my index fingers, and thus I have not worn the shirt after I washed it because the holes are smaller now…and the buttons didn’t shrink!

My friend couldn’t button it either! I felt guilty donating it!

I bought 4 of these shirts for work, while they were thin, I thought ok its fine I can put a shirt underneath it. You know what? The 4 that I bought that were try before you buy were fine. It gave me enough confidence to buy a shirt in a different color that wasnt. Now let me tell you about the shirt that wasnt. My experience with that shirt was awful.the shirt was damaged it looked like someone had taken a box cutter to both sides of the shirt just below the package. I said it was defective. Then I tried to call to express my displeasure and the lady on the phone at customer service was a jerk who acted like she didn't know what she was doing. Now here's the kicker. I returned that shirt to a ups store and Murphy's law got my car hit in the process. Tell me why couldn't they just accept a damn picture of the damaged shirt. Believe me when I say Amazon owes me for my gas and time for that shirt. To take it back when I would much rather they did some quality control on the front end than send me trash on the back end. My suggestion is don't buy their stuff outright use try before you buy. I tell you it was night and day the quality control for try before you buy where I hadn't committed to the purchase, than the garbage that I got by buying outright. Again I'm so angry right now I could spit. The cost of repairs to my car more than outweigh that damaged shirt and Amazon when the cost is under a certain amount take the customers word that its damaged when we say it is. I could have sent you pictures than go through all that headache over one jewelry shirt.
