It is oversized. Get your normal size if that’s the look you’re going for. It is soft on the outside and it’s not lined so you’re going to get the tougher seams on the inside. It is NOT like a flannel shirt, it is definitely a “layer” over your top. I have worn it on the go, on a neighborhood walk and even styled it up for family photos. Looks great with jeans or black leggings! For the price, you’ll look trendy and cozy. No need to get the madewell or high priced version for $200

This is great for fall season in New England! I had ordered the same pattern in a different brand that was more of the “flannel” rather than this “shacket” and returned the other and kept this one! It’s definitely slightly heavier and made of a soft material on the outside, but a little scratchy on the inside but you don’t notice at all with a long sleeve underneath. The lining is only in the back starting at the collar and about 8-9 inches down but that plus lined pockets really make the difference and make it feel more like a light jacket. Definitely an oversized look and looks great over a turtle neck for extra warmth or something lighter. Long enough to wear with leggings.

So, I had high hopes for this because I have a couple of different ones like it that I LOVE but, I bought those at Costco (for less $ and better quality, too!)
I ordered a size small, am 5'4" and 130 lbs, 36" bust/29" waist/40" hips.
It's very wide in the torso, the shoulders are too wide so the seams fall about 3" over the shoulders, and the sleeves are too short.
I didn't expect it to be fitted but I don't want it to be as big as it is on me.
If you want a big oversized look like that, go for it. I think it looks sloppy.
Also: this doesn't have any kind of lining so it's not going to be very warm and you'll definitely want to wear a long sleeve shirt under it because while the outside is soft, the inside is not.
Unfortunately, this is a return.
