I would say if you want an oversized look, order "true to size." I am normally a M or L and I ordered a medium. Its still oversized and perfect for how I wanted it to fit. Lightweight & not itchy. The metal buttons are a nice detail. I bought the cream color with brown and a little light blue in it and it was as pictured. I loved the look of it but while the outside material is soft to the touch, the inside of the shirt is course and itchy. If you want to wear with a tank underneath, I wouldn't recommend. You need to have a long sleeve shirt and completely covered skin before putting this on.

ALSO, it needs to be DRY CLEANED. Had I know, I would not have purchased it. Something to consider before purchasing. Who wants to spend the money and time dry cleaning a knock around flannel shirt?

You also have size up on this if you want an oversized look and comfort.

Product came worn without tags and had been worn by a smoker. My fiancé unknowingly appreciative I surprised her with it pulled it out of the package and put it on and it made her skin break out in hives after just 10 minutes of wearing it and after 20 gave her a complete allergic reaction and an asthma attack. When I went near her to help her get it off only then did I notice it reeked of tobacco. The only thing she’s allergic to: tobacco. She knows I’d never get her something with tobacco in it so being a gift she didn’t want to complain but after those 10 minutes she couldn’t keep it ion any longer. Her face swelled up and so did her arms and hands. It was horrible. Shame on this seller for repackaging carelessly and regardless of who’s worn it. I never leave bad reviews EVER and I buy so many products on Amazon. But this was SO uniquely, shockingly bad I can’t believe I even have to write this. But I do. Because the seller doesn’t care what they give to their customers. So beware with this seller because you don’t know who’s worn it and done what in it with their shirts, and this seller is clearly repackaging to sell. Looking to file a formal complaint.
